On a wet day in Glen Nevis the sheer volume and speed of water flowing along the river was an awesome sight if not a little scary to be close to as it thundered by. For this photograph I had to tip toe my way out across wet rocks on the river bank to get to my viewpoint, perilously close.
Once I had successfully set my camera up on a tripod without dropping anything it began to rain. But I really wanted to get this shot and in order to do that I needed somebody to hold an umbrella over the camera. Any volunteers? Bring on my wife Jan with our dog Holly. All three of us were now precariously balanced perilously close to the raging torrent. Don't slip anybody and remember that its all worth it. Ahem!
