The warmth of the low sunlight in this image would lead one to believe that this was taken in spring or summer where as in actual fact it was taken on New Years Eve 2009 in temperatures close to freezing. It would go on to snow later that day.

Even so it comes across as warm and tranquil and is one of my more successful earlier images. It makes a nice large print.
