The start of winter can be depressing for some but as the nights draw in the opportunity arises to take night photographs like this. Here in the grounds of Leeds castle I waited as late as I dare to take this image as the cool dusk tones contrasted with the warm lights from the windows. The long run back through the grounds carrying all my gear to see if the gates were still open was an exhilarating experience.
