I stumbled upon this view after trying in vain to find a vista image looking out from the top of the North Downs. As we trudged through deep snow on the edge of Kingswood my wife Jan asked if I had explored where this footpath leads on my previous scouting trip. I hadn't and despite the cold and weariness beginning to set in I thought it might be worth a look around one last corner before giving up and starting the long walk back to the car.

I made several smaller images but this panoramic stitch proved more successful. Well worth the extra walk to find this hidden woodland vista.
