Despite the well known photographers advice never to go out without a camera I often do. I usually have the camera on my iPhone but on this walk with my wife and our dog I didn't even take that. I was sure the conditions were not going to be good for landscape photography.
Fortunately my wife did have her iPhone SE and I borrowed it as the sun broke through a previously overcast sky. This image was taken hand held without the aid of filters, just a straight shot on her phone and I am quite pleased with it for that reason. You don't need and expensive camera to capture a good image. Once you have an eye for good composition, good light and how to make the best of it, what camera you use is largely irrelevant. Having an eye for what will make a good image is more important than having an expensive camera.
