The first time I saw this nuclear power station it was from several miles away at Dunwich as a dot on the landscape and my initial thoughts were that there would be nothing of photographic interest there.
A couple of years later on a return visit to the area I looked at a map and realised that actually given the right conditions it might make an interesting image with the right approach. I anticipated that there would be dunes and Marram grass on the beach to use as foreground interest and envisaged that with a decent sky and the last rays of golden sunlight I might have the ingredients for a good image.
Both the fence and sandy path make strong lead in lines and the warmth of the last raking sunlight of the day are the icing on the cake.
